Everything I do in my classroom is implemented through effective research and best practices. I've learned that students learn best when not restricted to a desk and chair. For this reason, I promote flexible seating in my classroom. I incorporate this with multiple intelligence learning, which provides learning through student creativity, interests and abilities.  I have found, using both practices encourages students to focus and link to higher academic performance, better health and improved behavior.  While effective, these needs can also get costly.  I have filled out a project grant through Donors Choose in hopes that the community can assist our class in obtaining the necessary equipment to build the environment for a successful classroom.
